In late march of 2010 was one of the most exciting days of my life. I got to Washington
D.C. and New York with my junior high school. I had to get up at school. I had to get up
at three in the morning to go to the airport. It was still excited about going to New York
and D.C. Next my friend came over and we carpooled to the airport. As soon as we got to the airport I saw everyone that was going and I met my other roommates I had not met before except for my friend Mallory. Before I knew it, it was time to board on the plane. I know had to say my final goodbye’s to my family. So we hugged and I went inside the plane. I sat more towards the back. As the plane took off I enjoyed the view and relaxed it was a beautiful view it was like we were in the clouds. First we arrived in Maryland we got to eat McDonalds and got to get as much food as we want since it was already in the fee we paid for the trip. So I got lots of food but too much for me to eat. So of course but I didn’t finish it all but it was worth it since it was already all in the bill. After we were all done eating we went on a bus to take us to Washington D.C. It was a long drive then we finally made it to the Airport. When we arrived in D.C. the weather was quite rainy and chilly and was not hot like I thought it was going to be. After the Airport we put our luggage in the bus. Then the bus drove us to some souvenir shops so we all walked to some different shops. There was one shop where I left my wallet on the counter but I didn’t know so I was looking for it because it had 50 dollars in it. Then I remembered I was at the paying counter and there was my wallet. I was shocked nobody stole it. I looked and my 50 dollars was still there. After, we went to all the souvenir shops then to CVS for candy and stuff. Then we went to eat at a place called Boston Market. Then Later in night we finally went to the hotel and got our luggage from the bus. The hotel was normal like another hotel. I had 3 roommates Mallory, Brian, And Julius. We talked and stayed up late. The next day when we woke up early in the morning and ate breakfast at the hotel the breakfast was good. Then we went on the tour bus and met the California Kids that were also on the field trip with there school. So we met them and talked with them. Then we went to look at monuments of people in this big place. Then we went to another souvenir place. Before you knew it, it was time for lunch. We went to some place that look like McDonalds inside. The food was really good. Then we went to Abraham Lincoln’s statue of him sitting on a chair. It was over 10 feet tall. The next day we went to the cemetery where they had people where graves that fought for us in the war. And we saw John F. Kennedy’s grave. Next we went to stand in a big line for George Washington’s house. When I got in it was quite big. His room was a calm green and they still had his actual Furniture. The furniture looked old fashioned. But the whole house stilled look Really neat. Then we went big museum with fake animals and documentaries about people. The museum was quite big and had interesting stories. For lunch we went inside a mall with food court upstairs. I had panda express. After, we went to statue monument of these important people that died. We took pictures with them. Later in the night we went to the Whitehouse. Of course we couldn’t go inside so we took pictures on the outside of it. When we got back to the hotel me and my roommates went swimming in the hotel with some of the California kids. The next day we road the bus to New York when we arrived in New York the weather was hot and nice. First we went to the hotel. The hotel was so nice and neat the colors were red and white. Next we went on a tour bus to souvenir shops. On the way there we saw Beyonce and Jay z’s condo and Maury from the Maury show condo and the Harry Potter Cafeteria from a movie scene. The next day we walked to a place for breakfast, again I took to much food I could eat. Then we went back to the hotel we had an hour to get ready for Broadway Show (a place where they do famous plays) so me and my roommates decided to go swimming for part of the time. When we were done swimming we went to the hotel room to get ready, For the Broadway show you had to dress up because it was a professional place. So I wore a black suit. So we all got ready and were on our way to the Broadway show. But we found out the Broadway show wasn’t until 7:00pm it was only 12 noon so we had plenty of time. The bus took us to Manhattan. It was a really crowded city with lots of people with lots of flashing lights. We all got to split up with our friends and go do our own thing. I bought a whole lots of stuff from the from the Asian store with lots of hat and clothes. I bought some clothes for my Mom, Sister, and my Dad. We all bought our own lunch and met at this place to eat together at. Before the Broadway show we all ate dinner at those cool place with volcanoes in dark shining lights in there and took professional pictures as a group only the North View Junior High kids by a professional photographer.
